Mr Mersich is BRILLIANT! My Mother 83yrs had knee replacement surgery and she can now walk, something she has not done for 18 months. Mr Mersich explained everything about the operation/recovery process in detail. After the surgery Mr Mersich came to see Mum daily until her discharge date. I would highly recommend Mr Mersich. I will request he does my hip surgery aswell Thank you to all the staff at the Park Hospital- Rutland ward Imogene Hayden

I had a left total hip replacement at The Park Hospital on the 28/02/2024 performed by Mr Mersich I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received from all the staff especially the physio department and Mr Mersich himself. If I have to have my other hip done I would definitely want it doing by Mr Mersich as he was so understanding and kind a true professional at all times.

Having been a very active person playing tennis and badminton up until Covid in 2020 i started to suffer problems with my left hip which eventually led to having a hip replacement. My consultant was Mr Mersich at The Park Hospital, Nottingham. I found Mr Mersich to be a very easy person to talk to. a good listener, who understood my concerns both mentally and physically about my situation. He was most reassuring that I would be able to get back to some degree of normality as regards sporting activities even at my age. I couldn't fault the care that I had at The Park both pre op and post op. from Mr Mersich and the staff. A year later I have now been discharged. I am back to bowling and do plenty of walking. Nothing but praise for Mr Mersich and the staff at The Park. A good experience which I have passed onto friends and colleagues.

One year ago I had a total knee replacement. The surgery was completed by Mr Mersich at the Park Hospital Nottinghamshire. Prior to the surgery I had a consultation with Mr Mersich. During the consultation he explained what the surgery would entail, he put my mind at ease and was very professional. He listened to me and answered all of my questions. Mr Mersich visited me prior to the surgery on the admission day and the same day following the surgery to see how I was. In the year following the surgery I saw Mr Mersich at regular intervals to see how I was progressing and he even called me at home. Months before the surgery I could hardly walk and was very depressed. I now attend the gym four days a week and have lost two stones. I can honestly say he has turned my life around and gave me hope for the future. This is not the first interaction I have had with Mr Mersich. A couple of years before I had a partial knee replacement on my other leg. Due to the nature of my condition (arthritis ) I guarantee that I will need future surgery and I would not go to any other surgeon. Mr Mersich is professional, kind, considerate, empathetic and above all extremely talented. Thank you Mr Mersich, I am sure I will see you in the future. Kind regards Helen Eves

I have been treated by Dr Mersich after having a very bad fall in February 2022 I struggled with the pain for 6 months before going to see Dr Mersich having no joy with my GP. Dr Mersich never gave up and listened with ultimate care about how the pain was making me feeel and tried several different treatments on my hip, knee and thigh arriving at the most comfortable place I have been in two and a half years. I can’t express enough how seeing Dr Mersich and my amazing physio Heather has at last returned the smile to my face and I am returning to being my normal self being able to walk a little further each day with comfort and ease. Thank you so much Dr Mersich you never gave up on me and you never made me feel if one treatment didn’t work there was nothing else that could. I have recommended him to my colleagues at work who are also seeing him. Thank you.
